- Yeah me too - I used a VGA monitor with my 4000 as I thought the
- 640x256 workbench screen looked crap - except good ol Amos needs the
- standard 1084 monitor or equivalent. So I now have a crap looking
- chunky workbench!

- I just saw Andrew's comment there and thought of something I saw. You
- know the way Amos screens just sit on intuition screens and dont move
- about when you use the Amiga m keypress. I saw a small proggy that
- forced amos screens onto an intuition type screen by whacking various
- hardware registors. Would that mean promotion or similar progs could
- get at the screen to change its res? I can't try this as I've ditched
- the VGA monitor (well given it to a home-made PEECEE) but I'll send it
- to anyone who wants to give it a look!
